Heat is a staple in my Tuscaloosa restaurant rotation. My top three things I tried were the Sweet Heat, Street Taco, and White BBQ pizzas. Every pizza was unique in its own way, but the star player was by far the ranch. The atmosphere was lively, and the service was quick. With great happy hour deals and unique pizza choices, I would make sure to come in and check them out!

I’ve been to Heat multiple times and continue to be impressed. They have one of my favorite salads in town, the garden salad. I also love their Sweet Heat pizza. I tried the Street Taco pizza for the first time and it was great, and the White BBQ was another fun one to try. Heat is one of my favorites, and I will definitely be back.

Heat has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Tuscaloosa! Especially during Christmas time, the atmosphere is wonderful with the Tinsel Trail outside. The hot honey pizza paired with a side Caesar was the perfect combo. I’ll be back!

Heat Pizza definitely brought the heat this week. They have three different tiers of pizza, bringing lots of variety. My favorite pizza was definitely the Street Taco pizza, the flavors went just right together. The Thai Chicken was also a hit. I found that Heat Pizza’s unique take on the classics we all know brings a cool twist to pizza. I’ll definitely be back.

Having visited multiple pizzerias in the state of Alabama, the Tide & Tables visit to Heat Pizza was an exceptional restaurant experience. I tried the mouthwatering Street Taco pizza with its savory avocado sauce. A competition followed between the Thai Chicken and White BBQ pizzas. While the White BBQ had a strong Southern taste with ranch and pickles, the Thai Chicken was a graceful blend of flavor, temperature, and sauce-to-bread-to-topping ratio.

Heat Pizza now rolls into one of Tide & Tables’ top spots for sure. With the uniqueness of the pizza options and diverse flavors, I enjoyed every pizza we tried. My favorites were the Sweet Heat pizza, acting as a nice twist on the traditional pepperoni pizza, the Thai pizza, and the White BBQ Chicken pizza. The atmosphere was fantastic. I enjoyed the family-friendly environment, the music, and the open view of the Tuscaloosa city through the windows. The food came out quickly, and the servers were very nice. We’ll be back, Heat Pizza!

When I walk into Heat, I’m immediately reminded of old, fun pizza spots I used to go to growing up. With the brick walls, bar, and old-school hits from the 60s–80s playing, I’m reminded of going to get pizza with my teammates and family after a youth baseball game. Looking at the food, nothing disappointed, but the Sweet Heat is certainly my favorite. It’s a thin-crust pepperoni pizza with hot honey drizzled on top. The Street Taco pizza was also a fun one to try, though it may not be a consistent order for me. The service was good, and I got my food almost immediately. Heat is always a fun and reliable spot to kick back and enjoy good food with friends.

I consider myself a strong advocate for a solid pie, and Heat Pizza has some of the best. The atmosphere around Christmas is very soothing, with decorations outside and inside accompanied by great music. Typically, I get the Sweet Heat pizza or the Meat Lovers pizza with a side Caesar salad, which is always a phenomenal combo. The hot honey drizzle on the Sweet Heat pizza adds the perfect touch to a classic pepperoni pie, especially when dipped in ranch.

At our Tide & Tables meeting, I tried slices of the Street Taco, White BBQ Chicken, and Thai Chicken pizzas. My favorite was easily the Street Taco, as its ambitious combination of ground beef, lime, and avocado dressing melted in my mouth. The other pies were good too, but you’d be crazy not to try the Sweet Heat and/or Street Taco here. The pizza is leagues beyond anywhere else in town and offers a lively yet polished sports bar experience. The service is also great. If you’re ever in Tuscaloosa, stop by Heat Pizza — you won’t regret it.

Another great performance by Heat Pizza in Tuscaloosa. As usual, the hot honey pizza was fire and definitely my favorite of the night, especially dipped in the creamy ranch. My second favorite, which I had never tried before, was the Street Taco pizza. The mixture of lime and beef on top made it so good. Overall, I rate Heat a 9/10. The Christmas-time atmosphere was astronomical as well.

I’ve been to Heat Pizza multiple times, but I’ve never gotten to try so many different things at once. We started with the Caesar salad and cheesy bread, which made a delicious appetizer combination. We then shared three specialty pizzas: Sweet Heat, Thai Chicken, and the Street Taco. While the Sweet Heat is usually my go-to order, I was very surprised by how great the Street Taco pizza was, and I will definitely be ordering it again. The warm atmosphere provided a comfortable place for our Tide & Tables group to share great food and company.
